REM works to improve the skills, knowledge and practice of those working to deliver the social and built environments of the East Midlands.

We have steadily increased the range of services delivered to our varied range of customers from the public, private and third sectors, offering a comprehensive programme of training, seminars, networks, briefings and discreet initiatives continue to address the priority issues.

LSP Network
A well established network of the regional Local Strategic Partnerships in the East Midlands, the LSP Network continues to be served through a range of targeted training and networking events focusing on emerging policy, strategy and delivery.

Skills Training Gateway
REM Skills works with organisations, partnerships and individuals to raise the knowledge and skills of all those working in regeneration across the region. REM supports a coordinated response to the Skills shortages in the sector, across the East Midlands.

Ep2 Programme
‘Ep2 Enterprising People, Enterprising Places’ is a new skills programme for people that work or live in disadvantaged areas in the East Midlands and who are committed to regeneration. It’s different because it is about empowering communities to carry out regeneration for themselves. The programme consists of a series of innovative tools and techniques designed to meet the situations that regeneration practitioners and others find themselves in every day.

Urban Partnership Group
Bringing together senior leaders of the public and private sectors and universities from the region’s urban areas, the UPG is a network which informs strategy, policy, seeks to increase capacity and skills, capture and build on best practice as well as sets priorities for the future of the East Midlands.
